Cookie notice
This notice explains how markvaultdrift.pro uses cookies and similar technologies, how you can control them, and how third-party embeds may set their own cookies. It should be read together with our Privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep sessions secure, or understand usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage entries used for the same purposes.
Our approach
MarkVault Drift operates a minimal cookie footprint. We do not load third-party analytics scripts such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. The consent banner on this site is not a blocking modal — you may continue reading while you decide.
Cookies we set
Essential — mvd_consent
Name: mvd_consent
Purpose: Stores your cookie preference choices so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
Duration: 180 days (15,552,000 seconds)
Content: URL-encoded JSON, for example: {"essential":true,"functional":true,"analytics":false,"ts":"2026-08-13T09:30:00.000Z","v":1}
Cannot be disabled while you want the site to remember your choice. If you delete this cookie, the banner will show again on your next visit.
We mirror this value in browser local storage under the key cookie_consent_v1 as a backup if cookies are cleared selectively.
Functional (optional)
If you accept functional cookies, we may store lightweight preferences such as whether you collapsed an informational panel. We do not currently set separate functional cookie names beyond the functional flag inside mvd_consent; future functional features will be listed here before deployment. Rejecting functional cookies leaves mvd_consent with functional set to false.
Analytics
We do not set analytics cookies. The analytics flag in mvd_consent is always false and no analytics scripts are loaded regardless of your banner choice.
Third-party cookies — Google Maps
Every content page on this site embeds a Google Maps iframe showing our studio at 72 Tyrwhitt Road, Singapore. Google may set cookies or collect device data when you interact with the map (for example, zooming or switching to Street View). We do not control Google's processing. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you prefer not to interact with Google Maps, you may visit us using the address text on Doorplate without using the map embed. Loading the page with the iframe present may still cause your browser to connect to Google servers; blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings limits what Google can store.
Manage your choices
You can change preferences at any time:
- — reopens the preference panel with your saved settings.
- Browser settings — delete or block cookies for markvaultdrift.pro. Consult your browser help for instructions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Reject all — available in the banner; stores essential consent record with functional false.
With JavaScript disabled, the banner cannot set cookies automatically. The site remains readable. Delete any existing mvd_consent cookie through your browser if you wish to reset choices manually.
Consent behaviour
On first visit, the banner appears at the bottom-right on desktop and full-width at the bottom on mobile. Accept all enables functional cookies. Reject all stores only the essential consent record with functional disabled. Customise lets you toggle functional cookies before saving. Your choice persists across pages and reloads until the cookie expires or you clear it. Press Escape to close the customise panel without saving changes.
We never write the consent cookie on page load without your explicit click on Accept, Reject, or Save.
Updates
If we add cookies or change durations, we will update this page and may show the banner again to request consent where required by law.
Browser controls in detail
Most browsers allow you to view stored cookies, delete them individually, or block all cookies for a site. Blocking essential cookies means the consent banner will appear on every visit because the site cannot remember your choice. Blocking third-party cookies limits what Google Maps can store but does not remove the embed from pages — the map area remains visible. Private browsing modes discard session cookies when you close the window but may still persist local storage until cleared manually.
On mobile devices, cookie controls are usually found under privacy or site settings in the browser app. If you use multiple browsers or devices, you must set preferences separately on each — our consent record does not synchronise across devices unless you use a shared browser profile.
Cookie categories explained
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the site to remember your consent decision. Without them, the banner would appear on every page load because the site has no other way to store your choice. Functional cookies, when enabled, allow optional conveniences such as remembering that you read an informational notice — we keep this category minimal and document any new functional cookie here before it goes live. Analytics cookies are disabled by design on markvaultdrift.pro; the consent JSON always records analytics as false and no analytics script is loaded regardless of your banner selection.
Third-party cookies may be set by Google when you interact with embedded maps. These are not controlled by our consent banner because they originate from Google's domain. You can limit third-party cookies through browser settings while still reading all page content. The map iframe remains visible; only interactive features connect to Google servers.
